Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as up to 50 daring teams take on the ultimate road trip challenge. Starting in Chesterfield and ending in Whitby - via the scenic route, participants will cover 950 miles in a car worth £1,500 or less.
That’s 50 teams, 2 countries, 950 miles of fun, grit, and determination!
All to raise vital funds for Ashgate Hospice, Neuroendocrine Cancer UK, and Hugs Childrens Cancer Charity

JOIN THE ROAD TRIP
Get ready for an epic, feel-good road rally like no other! Bangers and Cash is back — and we’re calling on fun-loving individuals and businesses to join the adventure. This is your chance to hit the road for a great cause, in a gloriously unreliable car, with up to 50 other teams!
Here’s how Bangers & Cash works:
🚗 Teams of up to four people take part — grab your mates or colleagues and form your dream (or disaster) team
💷 Secure your team’s place for £295 per person (minimum 2 people, maximum 4 per car)
💡 The fundraising target is £2,500 per team — we will offer creative inspiration to help you reach your taget
🛠️ Buy and decorate a car worth £1,500 or less — think bold, bonkers, and brilliant
📍 On 17th September 2026, all teams meet at a central location in Chesterfield and roll out in convoy
🗺️ Travel epic roads, check in at different locations, and complete fun challenges to earn points
🤝 Connect with like-minded people, share laughs, and support each other along the way
🎉 Arrive in Whitby for an unforgettable awards ceremony and celebration in a pre-booked venue
💖 All profits go to support Ashgate Hospice, Neuroendocrine Cancer UK & Hugs Childrens Cancer Charity
